Habitat signs MoU with the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce to accelerate the green transition

Habitat is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC) to accelerate the green transition of Kosovo's business sector.
The Memorandum of Understanding, signed at the Chamber's headquarters in Prishtina, sets out a shared agenda: helping Kosovo businesses adopt sustainable practices, integrate ESG into how they operate and report, and prepare for the EU market requirements — including the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) — that increasingly shape who gets to sell into Europe.
Through this collaboration, Habitat and the Chamber aim to empower Kosovo businesses with expertise, training and innovative digital solutions, including Karbon360°, our climate-technology platform for measuring, managing and reporting greenhouse-gas emissions.

What the partnership covers
The collaboration focuses on the areas where Kosovo companies feel the green transition first:
- Sustainable business practices — practical support for companies moving from commitments to measurable action.
- ESG integration — building the data, processes and reporting that EU buyers, banks and partners now ask for.
- CBAM readiness — helping exporters in affected sectors understand and prepare the embedded-emissions information their EU customers will request.
- Climate technology adoption — bringing tools like Karbon360° to the companies that need structured, audit-ready emissions data.
Together, we are supporting businesses in meeting EU market requirements, strengthening competitiveness and building a more sustainable economy — turning climate commitments into measurable action.
